My Name is Michael Williams
A mechanical Engineer by trade I have worked for Ziehl Abegg for just under 20 years. I have worked as an application engineer in refrigeration and air conditioning as well as technical for all markets before supporting our customers face to face as a sales manager. Now I am Managing Director of the UK subsidiary, so I get to support all our customers, when they grow, we grow together.
What would my cool skill be? I guess I would say I’m able to listen and communicate. It doesn’t sound a lot but if you can listen to what is required and with the technical skills I have, I understand the problem, I can then find the solution and I can effectively communicate this with the customer.
With the innovative leading-edge products that Ziehl Abegg offer we always tend to have a solution that not only gives the customer what they want but normally we can do it quieter or by using less energy as well.
This is why so many customers work with Ziehl Abegg we grow together, our product is part of an application/process so it’s essential we understand the applications.
I love my job, I get to meet new people all the time, I like to think I have built great relationships over the years. Plus, I get to see lots of applications, and I get to work with a market leading company with great colleagues from all around the world.
