Florin Schmitt is a second-year Mechatronics Technician apprentice at BITZER’s plant in Rottenburg am Neckar, Germany. As part of his training, he gains insights into multiple departments and is entrusted with small projects from the start, helping him integrate quickly into everyday operations. Florin also volunteers with the youth and apprentice representatives at BITZER.
Florin brings strong craftsmanship to his role—skills sharpened by his passion for working on his motorbike, which gives him a practical understanding of BITZER’s products and their maintenance. His participation in the Energy Scout programme deepened his environmental awareness, influencing both his personal and professional habits. Beyond the workplace, Florin is actively involved in volunteering, including with the fire brigade and the local carnival club—showcasing his dedication to teamwork and achieving shared goals.
