It all started in the year 2002 when I stepped into the Engineering World but who thought this vouge would be this beautiful, the so-called Green Refrigeration!
I am a ‘Refrigeration Guy, graduated as a Mechanical Engineer with a major in Refrigeration & Air conditioning (RAC). I picked the refrigeration field and started my journey in the Cold chain sector as a project engineer in 2007.
What fascinates me till this day is that the cold chain plays a vital role in climate change and our main intention should reduce the food wastage to tackle climate change. And to deal with that designing the cold chain requires immense specific skills and knowledge.
My primary focus is always to reduce food losses by designing effective refrigeration systems and food handling practices on a daily basis. For the last 14 years, I am working in different Cold chain industries like Rosenberg Australia, BITZER India (Germany), Patton refrigeration India (New Zealand), and Motherson Zanotti ( Indo-Italy joint venture ), Rinac India etc.
I have always been passionate about tools & technology. I have had a penchant for rotating things ever since I was a kid. I focus my energies on resolving an issue at the earliest. I believe I am a ‘Team Man’ – someone who can lead as well as follow, which also helps me thrive under pressure.
My studies revolve around RAC (refrigeration & air conditioning), theory and application in mechanical engineering. I also have experience in MS projects, Customer relation management (CRM), Microsoft Axapta (ERP), MYBO Exo software etc.
I have extensive knowledge of heat load calculation, cold storage design, selection of Capital equipment such as compressors ( screw, semi-hermetic, scroll), condensers, condensing units, rack systems, evaporators, and selection for various chillers, refrigeration accessories and design the complete refrigeration system.
As a technical salesperson, I always maintain customer relations ( B2B & B2C) such as OEMs, distributors, Key accounts, corporate accounts, & end-users to increase sales and deliver the projects on time.
I understand the refrigeration system and its essential role in making the unit safe to use and working correctly. I have spent my entire career in projects & sales.
I am an active member of AIRAH, Engineers of Australia and ISHRAE. I am always trying to engage more and more in the cold chain segment. I am always eager to design energy-efficiency equipment for the cold chain segment.
