Women in Coolings: Include me in the International network for Women in Cooling

I got my certificate in Refrigeration and Air-conditioning in 1994,l volunteered at a workshop that was repairing domestic refrigerators ,l acquired some experience and I was good to start on my own,so l registered a company and I started my own workshop .l hard some challenges here and there but biggest challenge the was lack of proper tools for the job , I would not manage to source them due to financial restraint.Business was slowly picking as customers were excited to deal with a woman in a male dominated Field.Unfortunately l faced a setback when I went on maternity leave the business went downhill which forced me to close my workshop. They say when one door closes usually another one will open and it deed,l was employed as an Artisan Refrigeration and Air-conditioning in 2006 at a mining company and I loved every bit of my work and this time l worked on alot of air-conditioners an experience l cherished.Currently the company l worked for was put on care and maintenance which meant losing my job again. Now l still get private jobs here and there l do installation and repair of air-conditioners and domestic fridges most, and am still optimistic that something will come up.So this is my short story about me and what l love doing most
