Priyanka’s Inspiring Journey in RAC Sector
I am Priyanka, a dedicated RAC technician from Ludhiana, began my career at just 18. Despite facing gender bias, I excelled in the male-dominated AC servicing field. My turning point came with GIZ Proklima’s Good Service Practices training under HPMP Stage II, where I gained vital knowledge on eco-friendly refrigerants and energy-efficient methods. The training not only boosted my self technical skills but also ignited me passion for climate action. Today, I educate clients and trains future technicians at an Govt ITI in Punjab—proving that with opportunity and support, women can thrive and lead in technical domains.
