I hold a PhD in Engineering and am a Chartered Mechanical Engineer (CEng MIMechE) with 19 years of experience in the HVAC sector, spanning both industry and academia.
I lead the development of advanced heat pump technologies, with a focus on natural refrigerants such as R290 and energy-efficient solutions for commercial and industrial applications.
My work combines vapour compression and ventilation system design, hands-on performance testing, regulatory compliance, and cross-sector collaboration—underpinned by strong project leadership.
I also take pride in sharing my knowledge by mentoring young engineers, delivering internal training, and supporting the next generation of HVAC professionals.
Navigating complex and evolving EU and UK regulations, I help transform innovative concepts into scalable, market-ready products.
Since heating and cooling account for a significant share of global energy use and carbon emissions, my work contributes directly to decarbonisation, supports climate goals, and helps deliver safer, more sustainable comfort to people and buildings across Europe.
