Am Gershon Kumi born and currently in Ghana.
I have studied Refrigeration and Air Conditioning at one of the biggest Technical Institute in Ghana called Accra Technical Training Centre – ATTC in 1998.
I have also gone through 3 years hand on practical workshop training.
After completing the training, I have worked with different companies and groups for installation working experience on site and also on projects.
In all, I have over 20 years working experience in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning and Electrical Installation.
I have have Certificate in Project Management Professional – PMP from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology – KNUST.
Am currently studying Consultant / Engineer ( Professional Post Graduate ) with Institute of Project Management Professional – IPMP
I founded and fully registered a company called VAPOURTECH ENTERPRISE ( VapourTech ) since the year 2007 and still in Good Standing.
I am a full member of the biggest Refrigeration and Air Conditioning association in Ghana where I started as a Regional executive and now am on the top Level as the National Organiser ( N.O )
National Air Conditioning and ( Refrigeration Workshop Owners Association – NARWOA )
About Coolskills, it means two things to me,
1, Cool – as relates today Refrigeration, Cooling Technology / Environment and comfortable living.
2, Skills – Purely talking about Technical Experience, Expertise and Technical people working in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry.
Therefore, #coolskills is to Celebrate and Recognize the Professionals, Engineers and Technicians who have the SKILLS to Design, Install and Maintain cooling systems.
It's also very important to use this opportunity to Train the young people and not leaving the young Ladies out because they have a major part to play when it comes to food storage, preservation and healthcare.
