Ana Carolina de Souza Rodrigues is a Senior Application Engineer at Copeland in Brazil, specializing in compressors and condensing units, with extensive experience in technical support and development of refrigeration and air conditioning solutions. Ana works directly with customers, ensuring the efficient and strategic application of the company's technologies.

For her, some of the essential skills in the sector are the ability to observe patterns and details, solve problems and, above all, communicate clearly. "Refrigeration is a multidisciplinary area, which integrates electrical, mechanical and thermodynamics, for example. But none of this works without effective communication between the teams and with customers," she highlights. Ana also likes to see beyond the technical side. "When we think of a compressor, we are talking about transforming electrical energy into mechanical and finally thermal energy, which in turn preserves food that will feed thousands of families. This is the importance of the responsibility we have in society." She believes that listening, planning together and acting in harmony on different fronts — such as in a supermarket construction, for example — is essential for the success of any project.

Another key point is her passion for learning. "Our industry is undergoing a transformation, with a growing focus on energy efficiency and sustainability. Our role is to lead this change, continually learning, innovating and sharing this knowledge with our clients, so that they can make more informed and effective decisions in their investments."

In addition to her technical approach, Ana stands out for her social engagement. She is Vice-President of the ABRAVA Women's Committee, where she promotes gender equality and the appreciation of women's presence in the HVACR sector.
