Women in Coolings: Include me in the International network for Women in Cooling

Ms. Natasha Kochova is in the role of international project coordinator under UNIDO’s Montreal Protocol Division – Department of Environment/Directorate of Environment and Energy, working on implementation of activities under the HCFC Phase-out Management Plan projects (HPMP Stage I and II) as well as activities related to the ratification and implementation of the Kigali Amendment towards HFC phase-down. Prior to joining UNIDO’s team, Ms. Kochova was National Consultant at the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning – National Ozone Unit at the Republic of North Macedonia and prior to that as National Consultant at the Persistent Organic Pollutants Unit under the same Ministry. From 2007-2011 she held positions of Program Manager at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI-USA) and the Institute for Parliamentary Democracy (IPD) working on advancing the management, internal democracy and policy development of political parties represented in Parliament and strengthening the democratic legacy. She also has extensive experience in training and education at a number of educational institutions.

Ms. Kochova holds degrees in Political Science and International Relations from the University of British Columbia – UBC (Vancouver, Canada) and in Applied Communications. She also completed a number of professional training certifications in the field of Climate Change Science and Negotiation, Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology, Low-carbon Economy, Circular Economy, EnerTracks Study Tour – Creating a Comprehensive Decarbonisation Roadmap, Green Industrial Policy, Green Industrialization – Pathways towards Inclusive and Sustainable Industrial Development, Recycling and Reclamation Practices of Refrigerants, to name a few.
