Women in Coolings:
I’m the Head of Sales at Blended, a supplier of specialist gases and chemicals to many different industries. Since joining the company I have helped bring on new clients, new products and a new brand identity as we look to fulfil our ambitious plans for the future. Blended have gone from strength to strength as we widen our portfolio of products. The last couple of years have seen us bring through and promote apprentices with great potential as well as adding experience to the management team.
Before joining Blended I worked for Energas, an industrial gas supplier, as a Sales Representative for 10 years. During this period, I was responsible for bringing in new clients as well as managing and maintaining long term relationships with existing clients in different areas. Some of my achievements included winning awards for ‘Sales Territory Growth’ and ‘Increased Market Share’, as well as being involved in projects with European colleagues.
Building strong relationships, both internally and externally, is something I strive for. I believe the key to this is responding quickly and effectively to queries, and sorting issues out as they arise instead of burying your head in the sand.
I have a BA Honours in Business and Marketing.
