Jamey Price has worked in refrigeration for 30 years and is the 4th generation to work in the ammonia refrigeration industry. He served as National President for RETA from 2013-2014 and was one of the first three RETA Authorized Instructors. He received the RETA Guy R King Award in 2016 for his contributions in Education of Refrigeration and the RETA Elliott R Hallowell Award for contributions to the industry. Jamey has been involved in starting nine chapters of RETA bringing education to those who seek it.
During the pandemic, Jamey worked in hospital morgues, prisons, food production and food distribution facilities adding 13 employees during the pandemic and assisting in increasing his company’s revenue by 20%. Jamey also has helped over 50 people find jobs, assisting them in resumes, training them, and providing reference.
Jamey currently serves Preston Refrigeration as a Senior Sales Engineer. He designs, quotes, sells, and sometimes project manages the work for many nationwide companies.
