FRICON

Women in Coolings:

“The area of refrigeration appears in my life through a job in a company that produces coffee counters, and it was here that I fell in love with this area. I had the opportunity to learn from a very experienced refrigeration technician, and I ended up getting enthusiastic and curious about learning more and understanding how everything works!

In 1993, I joined FRICON. Here I kept learning about refrigeration, starting on the refrigerator assembly lines, until I became part of the company’s technical support team.
In addition to the knowledge transmitted by my colleagues and captured in my day-to-day tasks, I also sought external training, namely the cold electromechanics course and the refrigeration and ventilation course.

At the moment, I am part of the product development team. In this new role I feel that I add value with my decades of practical knowledge, helping to make a new product more functional so that in the future its maintenance will be more accurate and easier.

I’ve had several challenges in the refrigeration area over the almost 30 years of Fricon. Without a doubt the opportunity to go abroad (such as Singapore, Dubai and Ireland) to train and help our customers with our equipment are the most meaningful experiences for me.”
