Women in Coolings: Include me in the International network for Women in Cooling
I came into the industry by accident really, filling a position within a busy maintenance department fort a local air conditioning company. It was there I realised how many different skills were involved within the industry and how diverse it can be.
In 2015, with my husband, we set up our own air conditioning and renewable heating business. My time as a business owner within this industry has taught me that no two days are the same! We work with so many different customers and each project brings with it a unique experience.
Being involved in renewables, I get to see how quickly technology evolves and how a workforce can adapt to new ideas and technologies. I am committed to ensuring a diverse team and engaging young people into thinking about HVAC as a career.
