Women in Coolings: Include me in the International network for Women in Cooling
I’m a registered engineer, specializing in the design of HVAC systems for healthcare facilities. My current engineering focus includes the design of hybrid heating & cooling plants that incorporate simultaneous heating and cooling equipment like heat recovery chillers and air source heat pumps. It’s challenging work that maximizes our resources and strengthens our commitment to fossil fuel reduction.
My father, Bob, is my personal and professional mentor. He taught me that you get what you give. Embracing the values exemplified in my dad, I’ve worked hard to be a confident, visible role model for girls and young women, focusing on mentoring. My goal is to positively impact the recruitment and retention of women in the building industry.
In my spare time, I’m an active volunteer for ASHRAE, currently serving on the Nominating Committee and the technical committee that focuses on Hydronics.
